Product details

The floating VHF handheld radio HX300E provides with the E2O (Easy To Operate) an easy-to-use menu system. The unique USB Charging Technology and the included charging cable with 220 V AC adapter provides more flexibility when charging the battery. Compact, ergonomic case design is a result of the new ultra small, large capacity 1560 mAh 3.7V Lithium Ion battery technology. This gives the radio a much smaller case design. If the HX300 accidentally goes overboard a flashing red LED is automatically activated to help locate and retrive the radio, even at night. A preset key provides direct access to 10 channels. The device offers 5 watts transmit power, volume and squelch indication on the display, a preset channel scan function and NOAA Weather channels. The robust housing is submersible IPX8 (1.5 m / 5 ft for 30 minutes).

Programming notes:

This device has to be programmed with your personal data, such as MMSI and/or ATIS numbers. You may carry out programming of MMSI and ATIS numbers yourself. Relevant instructions can be found in the manual.

As an alternative, we can carry out programming for a programming fee.

If you would like us to program your device, please let us know with your order. Furthermore, please enter your MMSI / ATIS number in the 'comment' field during your order or fill out our datasheet for programming VHF radios and send it to: [email protected].

If additional channels (e.g. dutch channels 30, 31 and 37) are to be programmed, we also charge a programming fee.

ATTENTION: The use of hand-held radios in inland waterway traffic is only permitted to a limited extent. Please follow the inland navigation regulations in your area.

Price-performance tip!

The product gives Standard Horizon a moderately high quality impression. The accessories are standard all you need, from the charger to the useful Gurtklip. Especially the battery lasts a long time and the voice quality is convincing in all respects. Very easy to use. In terms of performance, it is also possible to easily initiate stations that are larger than the normal dike height. Top device at a fair price!
