Product details

The switching station US-16 allows trouble-free operation of an inverter and 230 V AC mains in the same circuit. In the event of a second 230 V mains voltage supply via a generator or shore power connection without disconnecting the inverter from the on-board mains, this will inevitably lead to damage to the inverter. The switching station automatically detects a second mains voltage and disconnects the inverter from the on-board power supply. When the shore connection is switched off, the system then immediately switches back to inverter operation.
It is also possible to select the preferred power source from two different supplies (priority circuit).

Price quality very good
I was able to install the inverter perfectly with 1.5mm2 rubber cables.

Poor connectors for normal cables.
First of all, the electrical function, switching the energy sources, works.
However, the actually quite simple installation is very difficult. In the maritime sector, rubber hose cables with conductor cross-sections of at least 2.5 mm2 to 6 mm2 are usually used for shore connections and installations on board. However, the switch box has cable ducts that are much too small. The sparse screw contacts for the connections of the individual wires are also too small. Only with a lot of trickery and bending of the wire end ferrule can you get a 2.5 mm2 conductor cross-section into the small connections.
Unfortunately, this was not thought through to the end. With an output of 3.5 kW, the connections also have to be correspondingly large.
