Product details

ISOTHERM has the perfect individual solution for many refrigeration applications. The thermostatically controlled Classic Cooling system cools an evaporator using an air-cooled Danfoss compressor, which is installed in your new or exisiting refrigerator or ice box. Included here is the BD50F compressor, together with a flat evaporator. Flat evaporators can be carefully bent to suit box size. These evaporators require less space and provide a more uniform temperature distribution in the cooler, but they have no freezer.

The evaporators can be installed in any position and are equipped with 2 m long pipes and quick connection. These couplings allow for the installation and replacement of parts, the separation of the evaporator and the aggregate without loosing coolant. The systems are also easy to maintain. They only require mounting holes of 30 mm in the refrigerator wall.

The temperature (up to +2°C) is adjusted via the included standard thermostat with an ON-OFF switch. A mounting bracket with click-on lock for time-saving installation is included with the Classic version. All air-cooled versions are equipped with a cooling and ventilation fan.

I received the product a day late despite a guaranteed UPS which was more expensive!!! Damage.
Installation of the group is very simple with a plate provided which lays flat or surface-mounted thanks to its bracket. Simplified screw fixing since the group is not fixed. The group is fixed to this plate via 4 locks which are activated with 2 pull tabs. Super simple and very quick to set up
Installing the evaporator in a confined space took longer to complete. But with a little patience it was done. The thermostat is placed outside. The capillary tube is fixed to the evaporator via 2 screws and a guide plate. Simple. Connecting the cold circuits is super simple. We screw the evaporator ends by hand onto those of the compressor and end up blocking using two 16 and 19 mm wrenches. The connection had been prepared in advance for me with a 220 V 12-24 V transformer
The thermostat is easy to connect and the connection diagram is well explained. We connect the direct voltage to the control box and a few moments later the plate cools. A real success within the reach of the conscientious DIYer. I recommend this kit much cheaper than my previous Dometic which did not last 3 seasons.

A Most Positive Improvement
