Product details

ISOTHERM has the perfect individual solution for many refrigeration applications. The thermostatically controlled Classic Cooling system cools an evaporator using an air-cooled Danfoss compressor, which is installed in your new or exisiting refrigerator or ice box. Included here is the BD35F compressor, together with a flat evaporator. Flat evaporators can be carefully bent to suit box size. These evaporators require less space and provide a more uniform temperature distribution in the cooler, but they have no freezer.

The evaporators can be installed in any position and are equipped with 2 m long pipes and quick connection. These couplings allow for the installation and replacement of parts, the separation of the evaporator and the aggregate without loosing coolant. The systems are also easy to maintain. They only require mounting holes of 30 mm in the refrigerator wall.

The temperature (up to +2°C) is adjusted via the included standard thermostat with an ON-OFF switch. A mounting bracket with click-on lock for time-saving installation is included with the Classic version. All air-cooled versions are equipped with a cooling and ventilation fan.

Measurements.....

A very good unit, assembly is quick... however, only the height of the unit itself is specified. Be aware that you need an additional 30mm of height for mounting the Click On bracket, namely the height of the bracket's locating pins. A word about the bracket itself: good idea, poorly executed... you need three hands to release it, as each side of the locking mechanism has to be unlocked individually. If you also have limited vertical space, this is a fiddly task. I connected both release mechanisms with a thin string about 20cm long, so I can unlock both simultaneously with one hand. Otherwise, it's a great device, especially surprisingly quiet. I use it to cool a 130L freezer and, in addition, a 220L refrigerator using a DIN A4-sized heat sink (a stainless steel box, half-filled with distilled water and with cooling fins welded to both sides), which sits between the refrigerator and freezer compartments and protrudes about 1cm into both. Freezer compartment -19°C, refrigerator compartment 6.5°C. The boxes are made from A4 paper and encased all around in 10cm thick Styrodur (exterior basement wall insulation). Once cooled down (approx. 7 hours), I then have a duty cycle of about 50%, which equates to roughly 80A per day. That's low compared to the cooling capacity.

I have bought this fridge/freezer CC 2007, model nr 42007BA100000. Small-L 100l. I thought that it should be both fridge and freezer but now when i oppened the box it's written on the compressor that its only fridge. But its not possible to choose a freezer for small-L 100l.
