Description
The Dehler 31 is a 9.4 metre long and 3.05 metre wide sailing yacht that is known for its excellent upwind performance and surprisingly sporty feel. Top features are the slim, fast underwater hull, a tidy cockpit for clean manoeuvres and an interior that remains practical despite the focus on performance with berths, storage space and a clear layout. The direct rudder response, the stable balance when the wind picks up and the ability to trim the boat efficiently with a small crew are popular features. Compared to the Dehler 29, the Dehler 31 is calmer in rough seas and offers more comfort reserves, while the 29 often appears more direct and lighter.
