Touring-ready sailboat We upgraded from a 15-footer to this boat because of our two young children, opting for a more comfortable vessel. It offers significantly more space and comfort. The small galley and toilet make sailing with the family much more relaxed. We currently use the boat for weekend trips for swimming and short excursions after work on the Havel River (Potsdam). Compared to the 15-footer, it's a forgiving boat, not to say "cumbersome." However, it's also considerably safer and, of course, more comfortable. While the boat picks up speed in light gusts, it does so gently. Strong gusts are handled with ease, which is a real plus. We use a Torqeedo 4.0 outboard motor and are very happy with it. Even a longer holiday of over two weeks went smoothly. This boat is highly recommended for relaxed and confident sailing trips. All sails can be operated from the cockpit, even solo.
