Description
The YANMAR 1GM10 is a single-cylinder diesel engine from YANMAR’s GM series. It delivers 9 PS at 3600 revolutions per minute, operates as a naturally aspirated engine with indirect injection via a swirl pre-chamber, and is started electrically via a 12-volt starting system with 1.0 kilowatts. The engine is mounted on flexible, rubber-mounted engine feet. YANMAR’s GM series also includes the two-cylinder 2GM and the three-cylinder 3GM, which differ in the number of cylinders and power output but share the same design and injection technology. The 1GM10 is characterised by its compact dimensions, low weight and simple, low-maintenance design without electronics. These features make the YANMAR 1GM10 a popular auxiliary engine in small sailing boats.
