Element Isotemp Boiler
The element of the hot water tank was broken (short circuit). Replacing the entire system is an option, but expensive and difficult. Replacing the element was an excellent solution. The difficult part is finding suitable pipe wrench pliers to tighten the element. There is little space due to all the connections on the barrel.

Does what it's supposed to do
My orange boiler had a short circuit after only 28 years. SVB delivered the spare part I ordered within one day. It is an absolutely perfect fit and now the boiler is working again. As a note for future buyers, have thermal paste on hand, this is needed to reinstall the Klixon (thermostats).
