After 2 weeks of continuous use on a sailing boat on vacation (daytime temperatures up to 30 degrees), I can only say that my expectations have been exceeded. The control kit is an absolute improvement for our cool box, BUT. the installation is more difficult than expected! The control kit serves as an upgrade for the previous control (the compressor is installed in the locker). The cable of the new temperature controller is only about half as long as that of the old controller. A simple exchange was therefore not possible, a new installation location and cable laying was the order of the day. And the product video is a joke in my opinion! Where on board is it possible to put the refrigerator in front of you comfortably and install everything without twisting it - it felt like I was lying in the locker for half a day and pulling new cables. So there are point deductions because of the shortened cable and video

Dip switches too small !! Have to worry about damaging them in the course of the ongoing calibration! In addition, because there is still a protective film over it? And in the description no indication of it and the way of operating the dip. Here, larger, clearer dip really make sense !!

Our fridge is already equipped with ASU. We wanted to run the freezer either as such or as a drink-fridge. This can be adjusted with the DIP switches (it would be an enrichment, one could switch this externally). The "energy saving function" is great, but it does not save energy but takes more energy when it does not normally interfere - when charging the batteries (land connection, Geno, machine, solar) and saves this energy in the refrigerated product by lowering the temperature as "normal ". If the battery is then in the discharge cycle (in the case of photovoltaic at night or in the sailing mode), the cooling unit switches on again later (when the "normal" cooling temperature is exceeded) and therefore takes less energy from the battery during this time.
