You have a cooling unit with Danfoss DC compressor or are planning to buy one? Our smart energy control kit might be just the perfect device for you helping you save up to 50% energy!

This kit saves energy thanks to two functions:

1. Undercooling, i.e. as long as shore power is connected or the running engine feeds the batteries, the chilled goods will be cooled down to +1°C. When the cooling unit is only operated by battery, the smart energy control adjusts the cooling temperature to +7°C – a lot less energy will be required to keep the temperature as the chilled goods will slow down the temperature increase.

2. The "energy saver" is an intelligent control of the compressor. The device continuously modifies the rotation speed of the compressor depending on the requested cooling performance and the availability of electric power.

The kit consists of the controller with processor, that can be configured via DIP switches and via the temperature preselection. It also allows easy retrofit because it replaces the existing control unit. Can be used with 12 and 24 V.

In the box are: Controller (blue) with DIP switches, temperature pre-selector with housing and dable harness, cover for the temperature sensor, self-adhesive aluminium mounting foil, sealing compound, manual.

SVB leaves customers hanging - CAUTION

Was an enthusiastic repeat customer at SVB. Since the SVB website stated that Isotherm Cruise Elegance are prepared for Energy Control, I ordered the refrigerator and Energy Control (plus EUR 200.-). The manufacturer's product description gives the same information. As always fast delivery. conversion feasible (not easy); found out at the end that the refrigerator was delivered with a different controller than normal. SVB customer service nice and helpful but 100% ineffective. Announced delivery of correct control part for August; now May 2023. I have had a refrigerator in the garage since August 2022 which I cannot use. BE CAREFUL with SVB; great when everything goes well leaves customers hanging when manufacturer can't deliver. A pity.
