General features of the KUS SEA V series
The instrument housings in this series are protected to protection class IP 67. They are therefore dustproof and waterproof to a depth of one metre. The glass of the instruments is double-walled, which provides excellent protection against fogging. Installation is extremely simple: the instrument is simply inserted from the front through the 52 mm drill hole and secured from behind with a union nut. The electrical connection is made with multi-plugs. All instruments are illuminated. You can choose between red and amber illumination. The devices are designed for 12 volt operation, but can also be operated in 24 volt systems by using a series resistor. Black dials are supplied with a black plastic cover, white dials with a white cover. The covers can be easily replaced. Operating range from approx. -40 C to +80 C.
