Product details

A special feature of this KUS Fuel tank gauge is that it can be directly connected to an NMEA2000 network. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The installation diameter is 52 mm. Protected to IP67. With moulded stainless steel front ring and black dial.

General features of the KUS SEA V series
The front of the instrument housings of this series is protected to IP 67. They are dust-proof and waterproof to a depth of one meter. The glass of the instruments is double-insullated, which provides excellent protection against fogging. Installation is extremely simple: the instrument is inserted from the front through the 52 mm drill hole and secured with a union nut from the rear. The electrical connection is made with a Micro-C plug. All instruments are permanently backlit in red. The instruments are designed for 12 V operation via the NMEA2000 network. Temperature range between approx. -40 C to +80 C.

a couple of months ago, we purshased following: item no 24238 KUS water/fuel sensor 200mm item no 24237 KUS universal analog-konverter NKC42 item no 21586 KUS oil temp sensor. We tried to connect these sensors to Seiwa explorer 23 chart plotter, but nothing is shown on display. we have done all the nmea2000 setup of seiwa plotter. initialy i was thinking something was wrong with the setup in NKC42. So we tried with only water/fuel sensor and backbone with powersupply connected, but still nothing shown on seiwa plotter. (if we test then sensor in workshop with nmea2000-datalogger in master-mode, then data is shown, so we think sensor is okay). My question is: Do you think that the seiwa plotter is only sniffing the data in passive-mode, and we then need a instrument connected also?

Hi Steffen, I´am sorry to tell you that the KUS NMEA2000 tank gauges are only available in black with a chrome front ring at the moment. We´re working on getting other options as soon as possible.
