Pratical, and so simple. I use it everywhere in the boat. Kill two birds out of one stone. Get a low energy but still pleasant warm white and allow to get red lighting for night navigation. I would prefer the red a bit less powerfull what I do by hidding 1 of the three red led with a sticker.

Product details

This two-color G4 light bulb provides pleasant, warm-white or red light. A total of 9 LEDs (6x white, 3x blue). 160 lm (white),10-30 V DC. Power consumption: white: 1.7 W, red: 1.4 W. Diameter: 30 mm. The light bulb requires about 9 mm of space on its backside for installation.

Note:
The best way to switch the light colour is by using an ON-OFF-ON switch.

nice lights
There are two independent constant current drivers, one for each color. They are commanded through transistors from a microcontroller. To switch light color, you need to toggle the lamp switch twice, fast. Nice idea.
I hacked the board - removed the controller and connected the transistors driving resistors to the input wires - each to one input. This way, when you supply the board with - the light is white, when you supply - the light is red. Of course, the boat wiring should support this.

How does the light change colour white-red? Do I need to invert the polarity? Or is there similar quick on-off-on mode change as in item 21476 - combined anchor-tricolor light?

Dear Miguel, this two-coloured G4 LED illuminant provides a pleasant, warm white light and can be switched to red light by quickly switching it off and on (within a second). When switched on after a "longer" timeout (a few seconds), it always starts with white light. Switching is best done with an ON-OFF-ON switch: if ON is switched from one ON to the other, there is a short interruption of the operating voltage. However, there is no switch position related to the LED colour. Please do not initiate changes in current orders via this portal.
