Careful ordering

While not specified on the website, the freefall kit is compatible only with the gipsy version of the winch. In case you own the exteded drum version you will have to order a different axle which SVB doesn't advertise on the website and which is difficult (calendaristic wise) to obtain.
Only after you replaced the axle you can retrofit the freefall kit which in my opinion is a must have for this version of the winch that due to its construction has traded power over speed making it a little bit too slow for under pressure operations.
Bad job from SVB side documenting this aspect.
