The LEWMAR HX series horizontal windlasses feature an efficient planetary gear and high pulling power. The base is made of anodised aluminium and is protected by a composite housing. This creates a watertight deck unit that reliably protects the motor from corrosion (IP67). Low-maintenance and quick and easy installation. Available with chain gypsy or as a combination with chain gypsy and capstan.

Decent product (so far).
Used it for three weeks daily and it worked very well (as one expects from a new product).
Points of attention are that the 'angle of attack' of the chain should not be more than 6 degrees above the horizontal line. I found that to be a small angle.
There is also a thin electrical cable that is attached to the winch with an unknown function. There is also no mention of it anywhere in the manual. Strange.
The power supply cables are quite short, only about 90 cm. For me this was exactly 5 cm too short.... .
