Product details

The LEWMAR V series vertical windlasses feature a robust stainless steel housing and chrome-plated bronze gypsy. They include a reliable worm-wheel gearbox and provide excellent control with maximum performance. Works at the push of a button and has a manual chain release (Free Fall) and a fall safe anchor lock. FastFit option also ensures quicker installation and less hassle. With or without capstan, depending on the model.

Tip
The required tensile force can be determined using the following formula:
Total weight of the anchor gear (anchor, chain and swivel/shackle) x 4 = necessary pulling force of the windlass

I had this one previusly, and wanted to try a different brand, but that brand woyld require a different mounting solution...
For ease of replacement, I choose the same winch again.
The first winch lasted for 6 seasons.

Might be a bit dumb question. What components are included with the Lewmar V2 Purchase? Asking because V3 has listed Deck unit, Engine/transmission unit, Gypsy, Relay, Breaker, Tilt switch, as a delivery content. With V2 there is no delivery content...

There are no dump questions, maybe sometimes stupid answers ;) ... The V2 package also consists Deck unit, motor-gear unit, gypsy, relay, circuit breaker & rocker switch.
