The first winch lasted for 6 seasons. It has a decent quality to price.

The LEWMAR V700 vertical windlass is one of the most stylish windlasses on the market and features a sleek design and fast line speed. It works at the push of a button or manually and is made entirely of stainless steel (AISI 316) that makes the V700 extremely robust and durable. The windlass also comes with a gypsy able to accept both 6mm and 7mm (1/4) inch chains. Ideal for boats from 6 to 10 m.
