Heat Cutter for Rope

Ready for use in seconds! This professional rope cutter is perfect for cutting and sealing synthetic materials such as ropes, webbing and fabrics. The rope cutter reaches a temperature of approx. 600 °C. It is therefore advisable to allow the tip to cool down after use before storing the hot cutting device away again.

Heat cutter - application and use

The tip should only be replaced when cold, otherwise there is a risk of injury when loosening the clamping screw. The switch must be pressed and held to switch on and heat up the blade. It takes 15 seconds to reach maximum operating time - then the appliance should remain switched off for 45 seconds to ensure the necessary cooling. The heat cutter switches off automatically if used for too long to avoid overheating. The blade can then be re-used once it has cooled down. Use the included brass brush to clean. Avoid removing fibre residue via pressing/heating.
