Watertight encapsulated relay box with high performance relay for the control of heavy power consumers and windlasses. Housing made of polyester resin, shockproof and corrosion resistant. All required connection terminals are easily accessible and provided with sturdy connections. Delivery as double relay box for left/right or up/down operation.
Dimensions (wxdxh): 130 x 70 x 100 mm. Connecting bolt: M8. For 2/4-pole motors.

Can this control box be mounted upside down, or do the solenoids require the 4 connection terminals are facing upwards? I ask because when I have the control box in my hand and gently shake it up and down, I hear a clunk noise inside, suggesting a part within the control box is moving when no power is applied. Is this normal to hear a rattle inside the box when it is shaken? Thanks

I learned from Lofrans that this box cannot be mounted upside down - the connection terminals must be facing upwards. When we had it mounted facing downwards, operating the windlass would trip the breaker the second time the control was actuated. First time usually worked. Once we altered our mount bracket so the control box could be remounted with connection terminals facing upwards, the box works fine.
