Beste Erfahrung, man braucht keine "Trockner" mit Salzbeutel o. ä. - 1 Lüfter in der Vorschiffsluke auf "rein" einer in der Heckkabina auf "raus", alle Türen (innen) auflassen und das Schiff bleibt f.....trocken. Für mich die beste Alternative bzgl. Lüftung. Grüsse Hans

Product details

Use the power of the sun! This solar powered ventilator operates from solar energy. At the same time, a battery is also charged, which ensures operation at night or without sunlight for up to 24 hours. The ventilator comes standard with two fans, so that it can be used for either extraction or ventilation. Cover made of stainless steel.

Total dia: 222 mm.
Ventilation outlet dia: 76 mm / 102 mm.
Height above deck : approx. 65 mm

Installation dimensions: depth 50 mm, Ø 95 mm / 120 mm.

Note:
The fan only works with a sufficiently charged battery. If the fan is not in use, the battery can unload itself after a long time. If that's the case, the solar panel should be exposed to full sunlight 2-3 days, so the battery can completely recharge. The battery is a consumable item, it can be replaced by a commercially available NiMH battery (type C, C cell 1.2 volts @ > 2100 mAh).

The processing is not according to the price. The fan performance is moderate for a "top model" among the solar fans. Under a quiet run, I understand something else, something enttaüschend.Einuchtiertem fan and higher quality engines would be very nice.

Ok, but not the quality I expected.

The battery stopped working very quickly. Overall build quality is not very good. I think I will change back to cowl vents.

The solar fan I have sent back on 22.06.2016, since something is defective. This is our second solar fan. We installed the first one in 2011 and it has broken since autumn 2015. For the sent fan I need urgently replacement, since we want to go on holiday with our ship and only return in about 8 - 10 weeks.

Unfortunately, the replaced fan is defective. If it was only the battery function at the first, the second fan shows no function even after 5 days of sunshine. Let's see what the third does.
