230 V with an inverter from the battery – optimised technology!
MASTERVOLT has optimised inverter technology and offers a wide range of highly efficient switch-mode sine wave inverters, which are particularly suitable for maritime, mobile and photovoltaic applications. Many 230 v devices require a peak current when starting, especially inductive devices such as refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, televisions, and some tools. No problem for the MASTERVOLT inverters.
There is a common view that inverters "drain" batteries. Needless to say, with their heavy transformers and " energy-sucking " transistors, inverters used to be anything but economical. But the high-frequency technology developed by MASTERVOLT has put an end to energy wasting: many household appliances such as 230 or 110 V refrigerators or lights (energy-saving lights) actually become more economical than comparable 12 or 24 V appliances. This means less energy consumption from the batteries.
Inverters as an alternative to the generator – the rule of thumb at MASTERVOLT is that the power can be supplied by a sine wave inverter up to a consumption of approximately 3 kW. A sine wave inverter is quiet, produces no emissions, provides high quality electricity and is economical with battery power. An inverter only supplies current that is actually needed – in contrast to a generator that runs constantly. Therefore, the MASTERVOLT inverter is an effective complement to a generator with an ideal outcome: less fuel, less engine hours and more quietness on board.
