MENTE MARINE Fully Automatic ACS A Trim Tab Control

The trim of a boat depends on many factors: the speed of the boat, the wind's direction and strength, weight distribution, etc. When the course changes, so does the wind's direction and the boat has to re-trim in order to stabilize itself. If passengers change their positioning on-board, the boat must also adjust its trim. The boat's need to constantly adapt to changing load conditions, causes unnecessary distractions for the driver and therefore represents a safety risk at high speeds.

The MENTE MARINE trim tab control makes these changes for you. Trim adjustments caused by wind, course changes or alternating passenger seating positions are automatically compensated for by this system.

The ACS A version has the same control properties as the ACS RP and it additionally allows the connection of a second station (Flybridge) as well. Along with this system, a black box is included in the delivery, which must also be installed on board.

Functionality: The switching panel changes the manual trim system into a fully automatic trim system. The existing operating unit can only be exchanged with an ACS operating unit - connection of 6 cables. The built-in control unit sensors measure the movements of the boat.
