It is a pity that SVB does not deliver heavier springs, these are actually too light for my 23 ton boat

Correct finish for a product that looks solid. It will be necessary to see the behavior in the time. Used to moor a 3.3 t sailboat.

Maintenance-intensive - there are better ones
We used these springs for 12 months in the Azores in a very swelled marina after all the rubber versions broke. They held up, but after a year they had lost about 50% of the material at the friction points. Without regular lubrication they are also loud and the noise can travel into the hull if there is any doubt, due to a rope under tension.

So checking them regularly and lubricating them with strong grease helps a bit.

There are versions of these springs with black plastic discs that combine metal-on-metal rubbing. These are quieter and less prone to wear.

General question

These springs are very cheap but are they strong enough for a 50 foot 13 ton yacht or will they break off very quickly? Are they good quality stainless steel or will they rust in two months in sea water? Thanks
