Expensive but great! Expensive but great! I hesitated for a long time to choose the HPX version and not the much cheaper Musto Frome mid-layer jacket because of the price. I am very happy to have chosen the HPX GTX. Great warm. Transfer cruise in sub-zero temperatures and a layer of ice on the deck. A thin base layer, then the middle layer and then the sailing pants & jacket. Not frozen, not sweating during action and able to move freely, better than before with thick fleece pullovers. I can only recommend the middle class.

Light and warm, yet breathable A great jacket that I've worn as a midlayer, but also on its own. Very comfortable to wear, keeps you warm without breaking out in a sweat. I have another midlayer jacket from a different manufacturer that isn't breathable – it makes you sweat like crazy. Unfortunately, it's expensive, but worth it for me.

The GTX Infinium high-performance mid-layer jacket is typically worn between the layers for comfort and warmth and is suitable for offshore areas due to its versatile properties. The HPX GTX Infinium jacket is the perfect complement to HPX oilskins. The jacket consists of a waterproof and windproof Gore-Tex® Infinium outer shell and PRIMALOFT® inner lining. The insulation layer transports water vapor to the outside and keeps the wearer warm at the same time. Adjustable cuffs on the sleeves and drawcord-adjustable hem ensure a snug fit. With longer back for protection high collar for comfort. The jacket also features two chest-level handwarmer pockets, and two additional outer pockets for stowing utensils or warming your hands. Fully seam sealed and reflective trim rounds the jacket off.

I hesitated for a long time to choose the HPX version and not the much cheaper Musto Frome mid-layer jacket because of the price. I am very happy to have chosen the HPX GTX. Great warm. Transfer cruise in sub-zero temperatures and a layer of ice on the deck. A thin base layer, then the middle layer and then the sailing pants & jacket.
Not frozen, not sweating during action and able to move freely, better than before with thick fleece pullovers.
