Acoustic alarm system for the crew's own AIS transmitters
The AIS Alarm Box emits an acoustic signal when an AIS MOB or AIS SART message is triggered to ensure an immediate response and the fastest possible rescue of the crew member. Up to 30 different AIS transmitters can be programmed, so that an accurate assignment of the crew members is always possible.
The compact AIS Alarm Box has an NMEA0183 input and output which allows it to be easily integrated into an existing network.

Is the Ocean Signal AIS Alarm Box compatible with the McMurdo AIS Emergency Transponder S20 and the B&G Zeus 3 chart plotter. Denis

Hi Denis, No and yes. It is compatible to an AIS receiver, that is connected to Plotter/the AIS Alarmbox. An airconnection directly from S20 to the Alarm box is not possible. It must be wired connected
