The Harken Black Magic Loop Block is a high-performance high-load block designed for demanding sailing applications. Thanks to high-quality roller bearings, the block runs particularly smoothly and allows for efficient power transfer even under high load.
The robust aluminium construction ensures high stability with low weight. The swivel shackle allows the block to align optimally with the pulling direction, thus preventing the line from twisting. Ideal for sheets, halyards, runners, or spinnaker trimming on dinghies, sport boats, and yachts.

Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:

Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:
- Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (carefully assist with a soft brush if necessary).
- For heavier soiling: Soak the block in warm fresh water with a little dish soap and move the rollers (do not use harsh cleaners).
- Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt can be forced into the bearing.
- Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards to prevent corrosion.
- Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Note: Many modern bearings are maintenance-free or self-lubricating – improper lubrication can impair their function.
- Disassemble only if explicitly instructed by the manufacturer, as not all blocks are designed for maintenance or disassembly.
