Product details

Excellent quality and a well-balanced price-performance ratio. Single-sheave block with removable ring. These single-sheave blocks with ring by Herm. Sprenger have been test winners in various German magazines and are available in different versions.



Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:

  • Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (carefully assist with a soft brush if necessary).
  • For heavier soiling: Soak the block in warm fresh water with a little dish soap and move the rollers (do not use harsh cleaners).
  • Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt can be forced into the bearing.
  • Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards to prevent corrosion.
  • Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    • Note: Many modern bearings are maintenance-free or self-lubricating – improper lubrication can impair their function.
  • Disassemble only if explicitly instructed by the manufacturer, as not all blocks are designed for maintenance or disassembly.

Cleanly manufactured block for small loads
Cleanly manufactured block without burrs, smooth running.
Only suitable for small to medium loads. I used two blocks as halyard deflectors on the mast. Both blocks (10mm and 12mm) bent when the jib and main halyard were pulled through. Other branded products lasted much longer in this area.

Sehr gehrter Kunde, von der Lagertechnik und den Lasten sind unsere Einscheibigen Blöcke aus der Klassik Serie sehr gut als Fallenumlenker geeignet. Ein Aufbieben kommt bei Überlastung eigentlich nicht vor, dies ist meistens ein Indiz dafür, dass der Block in eine Drehbewegung wollte, dies aber nicht konnte. Gerne tauschen wir über SVB Ihre defekten Blöcke mit Bügel in Blöcke mit Wirbel. Damit sollte das Problem gelöst sein.
