The Harken swivelling Carbo Block Micro Cam-Matic is a particularly compact and versatile block for precise sail control. Combining lightweight Carbo‑Composite with the proven Micro Cam‑Matic cleat, this block offers a reliable and easy-to-use solution for guiding and securing lines.
The smooth ball bearings ensure low-friction operation, while the swiveling head allows for flexible alignment in the direction of pull – ideal for dynamic sail trim situations. The Micro Cam‑Matic cleat can be quickly opened and securely closed without damaging the line. This makes the block particularly practical for use with sheets, halyards, and control lines on dinghies, sport boats, and smaller yachts.

Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:

Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (carefully assist with a soft brush if necessary).
For heavier soiling: Soak the block in warm fresh water with a little dish soap and move the rollers (do not use harsh cleaners).
Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt can be forced into the bearing.
Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards to prevent corrosion.
Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Note: Many modern bearings are maintenance-free or self-lubricating – improper lubrication can impair their function.
Disassemble only if explicitly instructed by the manufacturer, as not all blocks are designed for maintenance or disassembly.
