The LEWMAR PRO TOUCH winch handle uses a ratchet pin-ball mechanism instead of the traditional square lock, a concept also applied in quick-release steering wheels in racing cars. This mechanism is operated by a lever that runs the entire length of the handle, allowing the winch handle to be inserted and removed from the winch with just one hand.
