Product details

BOB attacks rust at the source! Apply directly to rust, only loose layers of rust must be removed first. Rusty surfaces are strengthened and insulated. For further processing (e.g. painting) the BOB rust protection primer must also be applied.

Drying (at 20 °C, 50% relative humidity)
- Can be painted over with presto BOB primer after 8 hours at the earliest and 24 hours at the latest.
  Drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity and the thickness of the applied layer.
Yield (with double coat)
- Depending on the condition and colour of the substrate, 100 ml is sufficient for approx. 1.0 m²
Shelf life/storage
- 36 months when stored properly (=10°-25°C, relative humidity of max. 60%) in the closed original container. Store frost-free!

Processing

Remove loose rust, rusted paint residue, dirt and grease.
Apply BOB Rust Sealant generously to dry or damp surfaces.
After 8 hours, at the latest after 24 hours, apply BOB primer, preferably in 2 coats.
Please note: Do not dilute presto BOB rust sealant.
If necessary, fill smaller quantities into a portion container, as contamination or moisture can cause the material in the container to harden.
Do not process below +15°C.
Clean any contamination immediately with universal thinner.
