The contents are designed to provide basic supplies for a crew: 1 litre of drinking water and 500 g of emergency rations are included per person. In addition, two thermal blankets and a first aid kit are included to ensure basic protection and initial medical care. The bag therefore covers the most important minimum requirements for situations in which rescue is not immediately guaranteed.
Contents:NOTE: A total of 1.5 litres of water per person is required for classification as >24 h offshore equipment. As the bag provides 1 litre per person, if the liferaft does not contain its own water rations, a further 0.5 litres per person must be added. This ensures that the minimum supply according to the ISO standard is met.
With the additional equipment of three red hand flares, a <24 h coastal liferaft can be fully upgraded to a >24 h offshore liferaft.
