The contents are designed for the basic supply of a crew: Per person, it includes 1 liter of drinking water and 500 g of emergency rations. Additionally, two thermal blankets and a first-aid kit are included to ensure basic protection and medical first response. This way, the bag covers the essential minimum requirements for situations where rescue is not immediately guaranteed.

NOTE: For classification as >24-h offshore equipment, a total of 1.5 liters of water per person is required. Since the bag provides 1 liter per person, if the liferaft does not include its own water rations, an additional 0.5 liters per person must be supplemented. With the additional equipment of three red hand flares, a <24-h coastal liferaft can be fully upgraded to a >24-h offshore liferaft.
