Product details

The new TORQEEDO TRAVEL XP electric outboard motor has an output power of 1,600 watts and is ideal for dinghies and sailing boats with a displacement of approximately 2,000 kg. This corresponds to a thrust that is around 44 % higher than the standard model. The TORQEEDO motor features a modern tiller with a colour display and on-board computer. The TRAVEL is available in both short and long shaft versions. You also have the option of ordering the TRAVEL XP as a tiller or as a remote control.

Powerful: Thanks to the 44% increase in thrust compared to the standard Travel model, the motor is particularly suitable for larger boats and challenging conditions.

5 hp equivalent: With its electrical output of 1600 W, the Travel XP offers a thrust that is roughly equivalent to that of a 5 hp outboard motor. This feature ensures powerful, efficient and reliable performance.

Lightweight and portable: The motor weighs just 12.6kg without battery, making it easy to handle and install.

Lithium battery: The Travel XP is equipped with a powerful and user-friendly 1425 wh lithium battery pack (9.6 kg). This enables a wide range of charging options, including solar power.

Emission-free boating: Enjoy an environmentally friendly boating experience without emissions with the Travel XP and actively contribute to a cleaner and greener environment.

Operation of the new TORQEEDO TRAVEL XP outboard motor:

The fully adjustable speed control ensures efficient power consumption.
Steering is effortless both forwards and backwards thanks to the comfortable handle. Thanks to the improved tiller, steering while standing is now also possible with ease.
The integrated and removable battery is equipped with a convenient carrying handle and the tiller can be folded for easy transport. The motor weighs just 12.6 kg without the battery.
Comparable to a 5 hp petrol outboard motor, this motor is characterised by being environmentally friendly, quiet, light and easy to operate.

Steering can be flexibly adjusted between 360°, +/- 60° and fixed, which is particularly advantageous for sailing boats with rudders.
Installation is simple and straightforward, taking just a few simple steps at the stern of your tender, dinghy or inflatable boat. In addition, the motor can now be rotated 360° to attach the battery.
