Product details
The stainless steel chain grab is spliced or tied into a highly elastic rope. It is then hooked securely between two chain links, with the free end of the rope fastened to a mooring cleat.
The rope is tensioned so that the anchor chain hangs slightly slack.
Using an elastic rope provides effective shock absorption, reducing peak loads caused by movement and swell. It also prevents unwanted noise from the chain on the bow roller—ensuring a quieter night on board.
