SOTDMA – Reliable Transmission Guarantee
Using AIS Class B SOTDMA technology (Self-Organized Time Division Multiple Access), the easyTRX3 transmits your AIS signals with high priority, comparable to a commercial Class A AIS transmitter. Transmission slots for the next four position reports are automatically reserved, ensuring that even in high-traffic areas, the easyTRX3 can reliably send position updates. SOTDMA takes priority over standard AIS Class B units with CSTDMA (Carrier Sense Time Division Multiple Access), enabling higher transmission rates and improved visibility of your vessel’s AIS data on all compatible systems and displays.
Integrated ME SENSE Yacht Monitoring
With the new Bluetooth functionality, the Weatherdock TRX3-S can now act as the central hub for the ME SENSE yacht monitoring system. Sensor data is captured via Bluetooth and forwarded either to the marina’s Wi-Fi network or your own LTE router’s Wi-Fi network. Data can also be shared through your NMEA2000 network, making the TRX3-S the perfect bridge between your boat in the marina and you at home via the ME SENSE app.
You can easily connect a wide range of ME SENSE sensors and monitor them conveniently on your smartphone or via your NMEA2000 network.

The easyTRX3-S comes standard with a Wi-Fi module, allowing seamless wireless forwarding of all received NMEA data to tablets, smartphones, or chartplotters.
Integrated GPS Antenna
The built-in GPS antenna offers greater installation flexibility, requiring only a power supply and VHF connection. This is particularly useful for boats with fiberglass or wooden hulls. If needed, an external GPS antenna can also be connected.
Integrated Active VHF Antenna Splitter
A standard built-in VHF splitter enables simultaneous use of VHF radio and AIS with the same antenna— no separate installation required. A built-in amplifier reduces physical signal losses.
