Personal strobe light for life jackets
Visible up to 3.2 km, it flashes continuously for more than 8 hours at -1°C. Waterproof and corrosion-resistant. Easy to install using supplied Velcro. The unit is powered by 2 standard AA batteries. The flash switches on by turning the knob.

Emergency flash ? hardly usable
The "emergency flash" is unfortunately only a flickering light - flashlight on and off is probably the same effect. For boats or as for me for Watt migrations not at all suitable - maximum for going for a walk with dogs on the mainland. Hardly disappointed.

One of the small plastic pieces holding the wire pin broke after firs usage. I had to glue it back. The design is not very clever - typical american. It is not suitable for use in harsh environment.
