Product details

Gas detectors are one of the key pieces of safety equipment on board. PILOT gas detectors ensure reliable detection of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). Delivery includes a gas sensor with approx. 3.5 m connection cable. The alarm is given by means of a flashing LED and an audible signal. The system's proper function can easily be tested by using the device's test button. Operating voltage: 12/24 V. Gas sensors are optionally available.

Note
The manufacturer recommends replacing the sensor every 2 years.

Assemble first
Device works. It should be clear, however, that you first have to take the detector apart and then complete the wiring. This process is not described for the power supply max 1mm2, but is not in the description.

Who guarantees functionality if I have to remove the circuit board from the device myself to install it and connect the sensors? That's a really poor design and absolutely not recommended.
