First-class service at SVB I can't say much about the life raft itself, as I haven't used it yet. I'm pleased with its relatively light weight. It's mounted on the outside of the stern rail of my 2024 Bavaria 37 Cruiser and it's holding up well. I initially ordered the wrong life raft, and SVB was incredibly accommodating with the exchange. Five stars for that!

Product details

The INTERNATIONAL CRUISER life raft has been specially designed for coastal cruising. To survive in extreme situations, PLASTIMO manufactures its life rafts with an innovative double tray air chamber. The air chamber is located inside the outer envelope. This principle is similar to the one used for bicycle inner tubes and tyres. The inner tube is made of extremely durable polyurethane and guarantees the best possible protection against damage. All fixtures are welded, sewn or glued to a high quality.

Inflation mechanism

The life raft is activated 10% by hand and 90% by gas pressure. Even a child or a weak person can activate a PLASTIMO life raft.

Waterproof packaging

All rafts are vacuum-packed, so that no sea water can penetrate the life raft, even if water enters the container or bag.

Maintenance

Note
Please note that the above dimensions may deviate by +/- 3 cm, especially in the case of life rafts with bags.

Attention: In order to send life rafts by air freight (to islands etc.), a special dangerous goods surcharge must be applied. SVB will provide you with a personal offer related to this.
