Product details

The P79S in-hull transducer easily adjusts to hull dead rise angles up to 22°. The transducer is supplied with a base that is glued to the inside of the hull and filled with liquid. The separate transducer is then attached to the base with a twist lock. The sound waves travel more efficiently though the liquid, giving the best possible performance.

Will it work with fiberglass hull thickness about 20mm?

Dear Rafal, we recommend an throughhull transducer by the reason it is even more reliable. The maximum hull thickness for the P79s is 15mm.

Will this RAYMARINE P79S In Hull Transducer work on a Lagoon 450? Or has anyone successfully installed one in a Lagoon 450?

Hello Jye, The Lagoon 450 probably has a sandwich core, which is why an internal sensor cannot be used. The P70 sensor is designed for solid fiberglass only.
