Raymarine's new RAY90 black box DSC VHF radio takes up little space and is completely flexible when it comes to installation on board. The radio is controlled in its entirety by means of the supplied remote control. Featuring the latest technology, Raymarine's RAY90 holds the promise of superior performance with a long lifetime. Thanks to NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 interfaces, the radio can be easily connected to existing networks. Delivery includes a remote control and passive speaker.

Main features
- Black box, multi-station capable VHF radio
- Wired handset and passive speaker included
- Expandable to 2 RayMic handsets
- Built-in loudhailer and fog signal generator (Impedance 4 Ohm, max. 30W)
- Internal GPS receiver (can be extended by an optional GPS)
- Simple NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 networking

A communications power house
Ray90 is equipped with a powerful 25 W transmitter and commercial grade electronics for long life and high performance. Channel scanning, dual watch, tri-watch and weather alerts are standard. The integrated GPS makes it easy to set up advanced safety and calling functions. Just enter your ship's MMSI number when setting up and you're ready to go.
Please note that depending on the installation location of the radio, the integrated GPS receiver may not receive a sufficient GPS signal. In this case, it is recommended to either use the separately available GPS antenna GA200 or to supply GPS data from an NMEA2000 network to receive GPS data.
Position tracking
The Ray90 position tracking feature allows you to keep track of up to 5 DSC-equipped vessels in your area. Their positions are automatically shared with your Raymarine MFD. In Europe the Ray90 supports the ATIS system on navigable inland waterways.
Loudhailer
With its integrated megaphone, you will be heard on deck and accross the harbour. Connect an optional hailing horn and make your presence known with 30 watts of audio output, plus 2-way talkback. If it gets foggy, the loudhailer can be set up to automatically sound necessary fog signals for power and sailing vessels on the water and at anchor.
Waterproof and sturdy
The Ray90 transceiver unit is made of solid aluminium for shock and vibration resistance and maximum heat dissipation. For easy viewing in all conditions, the RayMic handset features a super bright backlight. The oversized keys provide a secure grip with easy access to commonly used functions.
