Product details

This Raymarine alarm buzzer repeats warning signals from compatible devices connected to the network to ensure they are heard from anywhere onboard. Many different types of alarms can be relayed, for example from autopilot systems, AIS receivers or engine monitoring systems. The compact and waterproof alarm module can be mounted above and below deck and easily integrated into your boat's SeaTalkNG network with a simple track cable. No adjustments or calibrations are required. Power is supplied via the network.

(Again) NO warning if the water is too shallow?
Neither my RV-Axiom nor the E90W nor the i70 make a real warning sound when you get into water that is too shallow. The only settings I've found so far are under "Fishing" - the message "You've reached shallow water" (with a barely audible beep) - only the addition "Congratulations" is missing.
My hope was that this alarm device would solve the problem. According to the S 71 manual, probably not either. A pity. I have absolutely no understanding why Raymarine hasn't solved this problem for years. Even my 1996 sonar could generate shallow water warnings accurate to within 10cm...

Incorrect advertisement by Raymarine
The buzzer does not play all alarms, as is understood from the description. Eg the anchor alarm or radar alarms which is why I bought it are not playing on my LH version. This is only hidden from page 61 in the installation description.
