The system includes a 30 m long rescue line with a float, which is simply pulled out of the container in a MOB situation and thrown into the water, and then pulled back on board after. Replacing the horseshoe buoy with this for the first time. It may not be accepted by regulatory authorities in your country as a certified rescue buoy, so check it first. I bough it mainly to see how many seasons it takes before the cover gets burnt out by the sun, which annoys me with the traditional horseshoe buoys (just one season is enough to get that plastic all worn out).
