Dangerous
This switch is a design flaw and life-threatening. We almost set our boat on fire in the middle of the Arabian Sea. I installed it as a safety precaution before the Multiplus 2, and it turned out to be a major risk factor. Upon opening it, the problem became clear: the round contacts, resting on a flat screw, have far too little contact area for these current levels. Even during installation, it's a typical example of engineering ineptitude—theoretically sound, practically a design flaw. I hope the many versions of this switch, whether Seatec or original, aren't all equally poorly designed.
