Seatec XD 220 Very easy to wear the bulge in the neck is no longer free of movement, I recommend the vest to others.

Great value for money

Perfect life jacket. I bought it extra for a 2 week trip. Always worn when driving at night. Great freedom of movement and comfort. I still have to get a service kit because one was not included. The only (but as with all other manufacturers) shortcoming is that a service kit has to be bought separately. In the event of a release, you should always have a service kit with you. I had to learn too.

The XD 220 automatic life jacket from SEATEC combines excellent freedom of movement with superior wearing comfort thanks to its ergonomic fit. With 220 N, it provides sufficient buoyancy at all times, even when wearing heavy sailing clothing.

Thanks to a special 3D cut, the low weight of the jacket is evenly distributed over the entire shoulder area and away from the neck. Adjustable straps ensure the life jacket can be individually adapted to fit any body shape. There is also a fleece strip sewn into the neck area of the life jacket for added wearing comfort, while the special mesh fabric on the back ensures sufficient breathability under the jacket.
Featuring a stainless steel fastener on the front, the jacket is easy to open and close. Furthermore, the jacket is equipped with a textile D-ring, onto which a lifeline can easily be attached. A crotch strap with quick-release buckle is supplied as standard with the jacket. This ensures that the life jacket does not slip over your head if you fall into the water. To make it easier to find a person who has gone overboard at night and in poor visibility conditions, the life jacket can be fitted with the optionally available LUME ON LED light.

The XD 220 life jacket is equipped with a UML Pro Elite Sensor automatic release system with 45 g CO2 cartridge. Check that the cartridge is functioning properly at all times through the viewing window in the outer shell.

A matching spray cap is not included with this product as standard and can be ordered optionally if required.

On request, we can professionally install a marine distress beacon in the life jacket. Simply click on "Add distress beacon" and select your desired marine transmitter.

Good vest, unfortunately returned

The vest is great, but I had trouble getting the closure to work, so I returned it. But it's a personal preference as to whether you're comfortable with this type of closure.

For me, the vest was too tight and stiff, and didn't fit well. The buckle rested more on my sternum.

XD 220 Life Jacket / anthracite

Does not have a metal D-ring for the Life-Line

There is no metal D-ring for the Life-Line, there is a red band to hook it on, in my opinion not as easy to handle as a rigid ring. For me the adjustment range is too small when I put on a thick bad weather jacket.
