I bought this castle 6 years ago from SVB and installed it in my old sailing yacht. Never had problems, was always reliable. Now I really wanted this safety lock again for my new sailing yacht, because the "BUILT-IN CASTLE" was not reliable and so good.

I am interesting in dimension of this lock. I think ther is some differents in longeness of cilynder. 1 to 3 cm.I need it to be long about 2 cm.

The round cylinder where you put the key is 17 mm, so that's the maximum thickness of a door if you want it to reach all the way through. The lock turns twice and the deadbolt extends 10 mm after the first turn and 17 mm after the second turn.
