Product details

The high-precision SC503 active digital shunt from Simarine measures the voltage, current, and temperature of a battery or battery bank. It can measure continuous current up to 500A and has a maximum output of 7200W at 12V or 14400W at 24V. The state of charge (SOC) of a 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, or 72 volt battery system can be monitored when the shunt is mounted in the battery NEG wire.
The shunt can ONLY be mounted in the battery POS wire with 12 or 24 volt battery systems.
The SC503 can also be used to monitor the power of large consumer loads such as an anchor winch. The power output of generators such as solar panels or wind generators can also be monitored.
