The original control unit suddenly stopped turning on (yellow timer LED). A burn mark was visible on the circuit board. The circuit board of the new control unit has a different circuit layout. We hope it lasts longer!

Hello, I purchased this part to replace my bow truster panel, But this replacement item has a rectangular plug and my previous panel and boat plug has a circular plug. So they don't match. I was told that I should't replace the plug and that I bought the wrong item as there should be a panel with a circular plug. Is this true? Can the plug be replaced ? Thanks in advance. Vitor Dias
