Useful functional extension of the side thrusters The installation of the remote control is recommended for all sailing boats that have difficulty positioning the joystick. (In my opinion, but also for everyone else) You don't need any great manual skills to handle the logistics of the installation yourself. (I had a lot of fun - cheers to the "Norwegians" and their installation instructions!) Luis

Product details

These new radio remote controls from Side Power are sure to impress with their ease of use and excellent functionality. The distinct boat shape reduces the likelihood of confusion or operating errors, and the radio remote control features activation protection. The soft illumination of the buttons makes it easy to use at dusk or at night.
Furthermore, the remote control is waterproof and the rubber pads on the back prevent slipping or scratching smooth surfaces.

Connector ready to plug in (plug and play).

Supplied with a wall mount with snap-in function as well as a carrying strap with snap-in quick-release fastener.


Note
  • The coloured dots on the label of the RCR-2E receiver are not active displays but merely a functional description of the button and the two LEDs. These are located on the side of the housing next to the connection sockets.
  • The RCT-21 handheld remote control used here controls only the bow thruster and the bow windlass. However, the supplied wiring harnesses can also be used for other types of remote control with more extensive functions.
    Therefore, be sure to observe the markings on the connectors when installing.
    • Use the connector marked BOW for the thruster.
    • For the windlass, use the connector marked STERN.
      Otherwise, the thruster or windlass will not be activated.
  • This SIDEPOWER remote control can also be used to control components from other manufacturers if their relays are operated with a positive voltage. Suitable for 12 and 24 V on-board electrical systems.
  • The RCR-2E receiver box can be controlled with a maximum of four RCT-21 handheld remote controls.
    Other RCT-21 remote controls are available on request.
