A common problem, familiar to all sailors, is a flapping mainsail when hoisting or reefing. This LAZY JACK system makes reefing and furling easier by guiding the sail onto the boom via a series of triangles. For small crews, the system is a great help. Suitable for vessels up to a maximum length of 30 feet or 9 metres.
All the materials included are specially adapted to the system and, thanks to their smooth surfaces, are gentle on the sail as it drops down. The extremely robust low-friction rings ensure that the lines run smoother. Another major advantage of the system is the Tef gel supplied. This serves as corrosion protection between aluminium (mast) and stainless steel (screws) and at the same time as a seawater-resistant lubricant and sealant. It also effectively prevents corrosion or build-ups on metal.
The Sprenger Lazy Jack system can be fitted by yourself with the simplest of tools. Includes ropes, eyelets, cleats and screws.
