The blocks offer optimal guidance with specially shaped side sections made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. More safety with dimensionally stable, continuous stainless steel straps. Care advice
Cleaning and maintenance of blocks:
- Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (if necessary, carefully use a soft brush).
- For heavier soiling: soak the block in warm fresh water with a little detergent and move the sheaves (do not use aggressive cleaners).
- Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt may be forced into the bearings.
- Then allow to dry thoroughly to prevent corrosion.
- Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Note: Many modern bearings are maintenance-free or self-lubricating – incorrect lubrication may impair function.
- Disassemble only if explicitly intended by the manufacturer, as not all blocks are designed for maintenance or disassembly.
